About Audi Brown - For what most would consider the most stressful day of their lives, Audi Brown gracefully tackles the challenges of planning a wedding while ensuring that the bride is completely stress free. So how has Brown been able to survive over 1,000 weddings? “"With love!"” she says, "“If you have passion for what you do and you remember that each and every client’s day is special to them, you will put your heart and soul into the event to make it special.”"Brown’s warm and personal approach has done more than expand her business; it has developed everlasting friendships with her clients, which for Brown is the ultimate reward. Surviving some of the worst wedding nightmares, including becoming a last-minute maid of honor the day of a wedding, Brown will go to any extreme to make a bride happy.Brown’s career as a wedding planner extraordinaire began over fifteen years ago in Louisiana when soul searching told her she needed to do something that made others happy. Leaving her job as a Branch Manager at State Bank & Trust behind, Brown began to help other planners with their weddings and events, soon realizing that her organizational skills and her vision for romance would make her a successful planner. In 2009, Brown landed a high-profile celebrity client when she was hired by NBA super star Chris Duhon to plan a number of charitable events for his foundation “Chris Duhon’s Stand Tall Foundation.” Immediately noting her undeniable talent, Duhon extended his contract with Brown, hiring her to plan his summer 2010 wedding. Because of the amazing job she did with his wedding, she was featured in Celebrity Bride Guide www.celebritybrideguide.com and many other wedding and celebrity publications. Recently hired to plan the wedding of NBA player Tyrus Thomas of the Charlotte Bobcats, Brown has also worked with several other celebrities and charities and political parties for fundraising and promotional events. Brown was recently named The Knot's 2011 Best of Weddings - Wedding Planner.Between weddings and the day-to-day planning’, Brown is a carpooling, dedicated mother who’s a first-degree black belt and instructor.
